Job Title: Shipping Team Lead - Motorcycle Salvage Yard

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Shipping Team Lead to oversee our shipping department and ensure efficient and accurate handling of motorcycle part orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in team management and shipping or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of shipping personnel to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
• Coordinate shipping products and prioritize orders to meet customer deadlines.
• Implement and maintain shipping procedures and protocols to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
• Train new team members on shipping procedures, safety protocols, and use of equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales and inventory, to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor shipping costs and seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage stock of packing materials, including boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts, ensuring adequate supplies are available to meet shipping demands.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of motorcycle parts and familiarity with salvage yard operations preferred.
• Proficiency in using shipping software and systems (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent
